Black Scientists and technicians ,many of them women ,used cells from a black woman to help save lives of million of Americans,most of them white and they did so on the same campus __ and at the very same time__ the state officials were conducting athe infamous Tuskegee syphillis studies.
I chose this paragraph because It really had a lot of information on how contradictory we live or have purpose while living with a common purpose . There are black scientists who have taken advantage of their own here . In an almost perfect society youd expect a race to look after their own or for that matter mankind. Someone shouldve have stepped forth and blew the whistle a lon time agoLike how the statement states too " many women ". I feel like it wasnt enough to take advantage of Henrietta lacks theyd go ahead and us eblack folks and women who Im almost certain were voiceless at that time .. It also goes on in stating that they went ahead in saving lives of Americans , most of them who were white. This definately had to be an era of racism because clearly if you want to describe Americans shold it matter if they are black or white or Yellow.

But Today whne people talk about the history of Hopkins relationship with the black community , the story many of them hold upas the worst offense is that of Henrietta Lacks _ a Black woman whose body,they say,was exploited by white scientists .
I cant help but think if it was the other way round ,as in a White person on Henriettas shoes . Would it have taken however long for the whole story to come out or if the consequences wouldve been diffrent . Then bigger picture that Id focus on this parcel is Irrespective of whose body it was , the benefits would have served and suited mankind.
Its also really difficult to comprehend that even on extra sensitive issues like medicine and science we have issues of racism and this could be on both sides Black on Black, White on White ,Black vs White and vice versa. Id want to assume that Some of this noble carriers shouldnt look on a human beings race .
